Editor’s Pet (Fiction or Non-Fiction) – Session One

From query to your umpteenth project, this workshop shares how to get an editor’s attention and keep it (in the right way) until you’ve made yourself a house favorite.

Spirit-Led Marketing (Fiction or Non-Fiction) – Session Two

This workshop focuses not simply on marketing techniques, which are always changing, but on the mental, emotional, and spiritual mindset an author should maintain while marketing.

    Session One:  11:00-11:45 AM          

Lunch:  11:45-12:45 PM           

Session Two:  12:45-1:30 PM

TONYA is a professional photographer, writer, and social media maven. Tonya photo illustrated the book Necessary Rules for Children in Pennsylvania Dutch Country (History Press, 2015.)

       The book, an unusual undertaking for the publisher, was accepted for publishing primarily due to her strong marketing platform on social media.

        She now shares her social media marketing techniques to help other writers establish effective professional marketing platforms for their own creative endeavors.

ANNUAL SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY WRITERS LUNCHEON & WORKSHOP

Tuesday, October 13th

11:00 a.m.

Writers, make plans to join the Susquehanna Valley Writers Group for a luncheon on Tuesday, October 13th at 11:00 a.m. at the Carriage Corner Restaurant, Mifflinburg, PA.

This year, we’ve decided not to have any speakers, which will curb the cost for anyone attending. You will be responsible to pay for your lunch, which you’ll order from the menu that day.  We’ll have a Freebie Book Table and an Authors’ Book Table if you’d like to display your books. Any sales you make will be private, between you and the buyer. If you’d like to make an “elevator pitch” to the group about your book, please let me know, and we’ll take time to do that.

So plan to come and enjoy a time of fellowship with other writers. And most importantly, PLEASE let me know by September 30th if you plan to attend. I must give a count to the restaurant so the owner can reserve a room for us, contingent on the number who plan to attend.
